One of the most common problem areas in quality audits are inconsistencies between FMEAs and Control Plans. It is easy to start working on a change in one document, get interrupted and forget to change the other. Even if your documents agree in detail, it is difficult to accomplish this manually in Microsoft Excel.

Header, Process and Characteristic information is integrated within a project and automatically flows to the Process Flow Diagram, FMEA , Control Plan and Check sheet. If any of this information is changed within AutoDCP, the change is automatically made to all affected documents within the project.

AutoDCP also includes linking of projects or selected operations from projects into one overall composite project. This is useful for combining purchased parts, different components or generic operations with part specific information. These types of composite projects are automatically updated when the underlying data changes.
