Flex FMEA ...
A FMEA or
Failure Modes Effects Analysis is an approach for identifying the
potential risk in a process or system. A typical FMEA focuses on a
single system, project or process. The result of the risk study is the
identification of potential failures, their causes and the actions to
be taken to control quality.
Flex FMEA is
a new approach where the risks identified in multiple FMEAs or studies
are combined to provide information not available in each study. This
technology includes the extraction of risk information envisioned at
the beginning of the study (example: summary information for a part
family), or information needed as the result of unpredicted incidents
in a process (example: risk information for a given type of automation).
Customer
Driven Systems provides AutoDCP FMEA software which provides fast
construction of FMEAs as well as Flex FMEA technology. For more
