A Service Company 
Customer Driven Systems (CDS) was founded in 1997 to provide quality and engineering professionals with quality management software that is second to none. 

AutoDCP is designed and developed by industrial engineers and professional software developers located in the United States. Most CDS associates possess significant manufacturing experience.

History
CDS started in 1997 and began providing automotive suppliers with AutoDCP in 1998. During the first three versions the design emphasis was on effort reduction. Some key milestones:

1999 AutoDCP starts being used by automotive suppliers who immediately cut their effort by half.
2000 Version 4 introduces the AutoDCP Excel Report writer.
2001 The AutoDCP command  language is implemented and used for the first time by Tower Automotive. Al Lawson  at Tower completes  the 106 page Control Plan for the GMX 320 in 2.5 hours.
2001 Version 6 provides FMEA 3rd Edition support including migration of data to the new format.
2002 Midway Products makes a corporate purchase and converts all of its facilities from AQuA to AutoDCP. CDS develops an AQuA import utility.
2003 TRW Brake Division makes a division-wide purchase and converts its plants from MPACT to AutoDCP. The first engineer to use AutoDCP immediately cuts the time to complete a submission by 63%.
2004 Version 7 introduces the Honda PQCT and Toyota MQC, the linking together of projects and the enhanced statistical analysis.
2005 Version 8 introduces the PFMEA / DFMEA bridge and the consolidation of reports into a single Excel workbook.
2006 Version 9 introduces the graphical user interface.
2006 Version 10 offers Dynamic Sensitivity Analysis for all FMEAs in the database. PPAP 4th Edition support included. Process screen redesigned to a WYSIWYG interface.
2007 Version 11 includes the Quality Dashboard for plant management. Customers report increased management support.
2008 Version 12 provides FMEA 4th Edition support, Corrective Action Bridge to FMEA enhanced with additional reporting.
2009 Version 12.5 implements Flex FMEA, Undo/Redo feature on FMEA and Control Plan screens and Continous Improvement statistics over time. Customers report tremendous gains in productivity meeting Ford and GM reporting requirements.
2010 Version 14 implements Risk Profiles and includes a newly designed WYSIWYG interface for the Control Plan screen. Customers report doubling their productivity in creating new FMEAs.
2011 Version 15  offers Auto Fill FMEA and Control Plan as well as new enhanced Risk Dashboard. Mass Creation features for multiple projects are introduced.

AutoDCP-Lite is announced.





Future Goals
CDS continues to focus on helping manufacturing professionals increase their productivity and improve quality in their facility. Future releases will continue the AutoDCP tradition of more information with less effort, more consistency in less time, and software that mimics our customers high quality levels.
